Matt Schulman is CEO and founder of Pave. He has an engineering degree from Penn and a business degree from Wharton. Prior to Pave he was a software engineer at Facebook where he worked on the messenger kids team. He has a deep passion for personal finance. Outside of work he enjoys backcountry skiing and anything outdoors.
Nicklaus is the Global Head of Partnerships at Pave. He has worked with companies ranging from startups to $2B+ market cap enterprises, driving strategic partnerships for revenue growth and market expansion. Nicklaus previously led OneSignal's global partner ecosystem and holds a BS in Quantitative Economics from Duke University. A Bay Area native, he enjoys sports, traveling, and culinary exploration. Nicklaus is committed to building lasting partnerships that enable companies to unlock their full potential and achieve positive impact.
Samuel Ford is the VP of Finance at Pave. Prior to joining Pave, Samuel was the Head of Go-To-Market Strategic Finance at Airtable. He was previously a private equity investor at Berkshire Partners and Goldman Sachs. Samuel received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Outside of work, Samuel enjoys surfing and rooting for Pittsburgh and UVA sports teams.
Dan Petty leads the Security, DevOps and IT teams at Pave. Prior to Pave, Dan led security teams at Credit Karma through its successful acquisition by Intuit for $7.1B. During his time at Credit Karma, Dan helped scale the security team from 5 to over 100. Prior to that Dan was at Google, where he worked to make the Internet a safer place. Dan has a BS in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s degree in Technology Policy from University of Cambridge.
Saroj is the Head of Legal at Pave, where she leads all things related to commercial transactions, privacy, corporate, employment law, and everything in between. Prior to joining Pave, she was a senior member of the legal team at Cisco Meraki. She started her legal career in Big Law in New York. She holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.S. in computer science and international relations from Carnegie Mellon University. Saroj spends much of her free time chasing after her dog.
Charlie Nelson is the VP of Customer Success & Revenue Operations at Pave, where he leads the strategic alignment of customer experience and operational efficiency. With a proven track record in building successful revenue engines, Charlie held a pivotal role at SmartRecruiters, constructing their go-to-market framework and serving as the Chief Sales Officer. His expertise in selling to and supporting HR professionals is also evident from his leadership at Identified, where he led sales before its acquisition by Workday, and at SimplyHired, where he played a key role in building out their Sales and Success functions. Charlie holds B.A. in Business Communications & Sociology from the University of Washington.
Emily Glick is the VP of Customer Success and Support, responsible for overseeing the post-sale process and optimizing the customer experience. With a diverse background in Customer Success, she has worked with companies across all stages, from seed-stage startups to publicly traded firms, covering a range of industries including solar, edtech, and fintech. Emily has led teams managing over $40M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), focused on customer retention and satisfaction. She also brings experience in direct sales, channel sales, and corporate training. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and resides in San Francisco. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city and traveling with her daughter, mountain biking, hiking, and watching a good movie.
Armando serves as Vice President of Sales at Pave, where he spearheads the company's revenue operations encompassing both new business development and client sales initiatives. Before joining Pave, Armando held key positions at industry leaders, including Salesforce, and most recently at SmartRecruiters, where he led the North American Team. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional ability in building high-performing sales teams and developing innovative strategies that empower HR professionals to achieve their long-term organizational objectives. Outside of work, Armando enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and remains actively involved in his community as a club soccer coach
Alex Cwirko-Godycki is the VP of Marketing & Strategy at Pave, where he leads the firm’s marketing team and advises leaders on business and product strategy. He brings two decades of experience in compensation and human resources to Pave, including more than 10 years at Aon plc building, commercializing, and marketing the Radford Survey platform. Most recently, Alex served as Chief Marketing Officer for Aon's global human capital capabilities, a business unit with more than $4 billion in annual revenues. Alex holds a bachelor of arts degree from Cornell University, where he double majored in government and history.
